Den Piloten von Red Oaks habe ich vor längerer Zeit schon gesehen und habe ihn gemocht, aber da Amazon die Piloten so sehr von der Ausstrahlung der Serie selbst trennt, habe ich sie komplett aus den Augen verloren.
Erst seitdem ich Amazon Video jetzt seit ein paar Tagen habe (man kann jetzt nämlich auch endlich von Schweden aus auf die Inhalte zugreifen), tauchte sie immer mal wieder in der Übersicht auf – die zweite Staffel kam erst im November raus.
Aber was soll ich sagen: ich habe sie in den letzten Tagen komplett verschlungen. Gut, es waren auch nur 2 x 10 Folgen mit jeweils knapp 25 Minuten Laufzeit. Aber sie ist wirklich kurzweilig, ich verstehe nur nicht so recht, warum die Serie als „Komödie“ bezeichnet wird. Und sie übertreibt es auch nicht mit dem 80er-Flair – diese rieseigen Brillen sind ja heutzutage eh wieder modern, so dass es kaum auffällt.
Dieses Mal habe ich mir die Serie aber bei gespeichert, so dass ich eine dritte Staffel auf gar keinen Fall verpassen werde. Besser ist das!
