Ubuntu unter Q auf iMac Core Duo

Gestern habe ich mal Q in der Version des UniversalBinary auf meinem iMac CoreDuo installiert und probehalber die Linux Distribution Ubuntu installiert.

Das dauerte alles ziemlich lange und die Ausführung ist auch nicht mit der sonstigen Geschwindigkeit des iMacs selbst zu vergleichen, aber so zur Demonstration ist das schon ganz nett. Wenn ich jetzt noch den Netzwerkzugang hinbekomme, kann ich da so Projekte wie Blogger.de und Blogscout realistischer testen.

    Wenn ich irgendwo in den Umzugskartons noch eine BeOS-CD finde, werde ich es mal probieren :-)
