Gleiche Erfahrung – da gestern keine XP CD im Büro zur Hand – hatte ich auch mit einer Live-CD von Ubuntu

nur gab es Probleme mit dem Xserver… Vielleicht mit einer der nächsten Ausgaben von Ubuntu oder Bastelei ;)

I did not complete the installation, so I cannot tell, how the bootloader would mark the partition.

The disk itself is a normal ISO-CD, so I guess the bootloader just prints out the most common non-MacOS. And that’s still Windows…

[Ich verstehe deutsch aber bin Lerner, so ich ausdrücke mich in Englisch hier, glaube ich]

Interface-wise that’s a quite horrible regression from the current status on old macs .. in the old bootloader, the harddrives had no display names but had emblems signifying their OS, a blue X for OS X, and — that’s right — a penguin for my ubuntu disk!

Now to name Ubuntu “Windows” is a shame :(
