Google finally identifying Blogs

They name it Preventing Comment Spam and a lot of people seem to like and support it.

I think, that the most important reason for Google is to finally being able to tell a website from a blog. Currently blog search engines like Technorati and Blogg.de need to process the pings from blogs to eg. blo.gs.

Now, it will be easy for Google to create a special blog search tool. And every blogger seems to want to help them…

  1. “I think, that the most important reason for Google is to finally being able to tell a website from a blog” – right. Just like TypeKed, the rel-tag does not ease the spam problem but serves the internal agendas of some companies. My thoughts at http://www.hebig.org/blogs/archives/main/001797.php

  2. Nofollow ist damaging the internet cause the internet is a bunch of links. No more, no less. If you take away refering links, internt doesn’t make sense anymore. And why should i take the stress writing a comment, when i doesn’t get a backlink in return? Blog users of the world, remove the nofollow-tag of your blogs.
